South Bay Materials is a Landscape Materials supply Company seeking an experienced customer service Equipment Operator to be part of a close, efficient team. A positive attitude and willingness to grow and build relationships with team members and customers is expected.
Responsibilities:
Load materials with equipment or by hand
Respond to inquiries in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner
Help maintain store cleanliness
Must have good customer service skills
All other duties as assigned
Required Skills, and Abilities Include:
Able to contribute to a team approach by being versatile, flexible, and having a positive outlook in your interactions with co-workers and customers – can effectively multi-task
Willing to work extended hours during peak season
Key Personal Attributes Include:
Minimum 2 years forklift experience
Forklift Driving Certification (offered on the job, if necessary)
Must be able to lift 94 pounds
Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift, front loading wheel loader and other equipment as required
Requires excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and fellow employees
Present a professional image to our customers through personal appearance and overall store cleanliness
