Furniture Handler / Warehouse Associate needed for busy auction showroom located in the Temescal area of Oakland. General duties are: - Setting up furniture as directed in vignettes or rows for monthly auction viewings - Assisting customers with purchases including locating item on the showroom floor - Unpacking and setting up smaller items such as china and glassware - Working on the company truck for off-site packing and moving jobs - Customer service for monthly Art & Antique Auctions - Work independently and part of a team - Special projects as directed Skills required: - Ability to move furniture carefully and lift up to 50 lbs. - Reliability and dependability for timeliness and attendance - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Availability to work one weekend a month, with compensatory days off before and after each weekend shift. - Legible handwriting for generating inventory listings This is a full time job.
