Totally unique and thought provoking or oblique and rambling. The band is fully adept and bent on making music on its own terms. Experimental traditional, progressive Americana or a Faces cover band, it’s up to the listener. The band relishes contradicting itself and being independent of genre. Bizarre licks, clever lyrics, disjointed and sway inducing with a full complement of Kansas swagger. The four piece has been making music since 2001 and has 9 full length albums to their credit including their most recent ‘Sun City Vices’, released in 2021. Widely known as a band mostly enjoyed by other people in bands, the Ants have no pedigree. They have not had to overcome any extraordinary difficulties. They believe in work and compassion.
