Republicans are notorious for being all white male elitists. Now, at least one of the three recall replacement candidates for the GOP is black. The irony here is, the recall was started by racist group the Proud Boys. The recall will fail, but if it does not, the Proud Boys will not be happy with a black fella taking over. On some level, the democrats win either way. If the recall fails, Newsom stays in office. If the recall works, democrats will be pleased to have. a person of color in office even if it is for less than a year.
