Description
It seems leaders from both sides, republican as well as democrat, have grown weary of the division between parties.
There has always been a difference of opinion between the right and the left, but the rift has grown deep and wide. Both parties realize that its is difficult for either party to accomplish much with a divided nation. This is particularly true for the party that is not in power because they do not have the power of executive order.
Just as with a strong relationship, compromise from each side is prudent. Political leaders are re-realizing the importance of communication and compromise. Leaders and lawmakers from both sides are seeking less division and more action.
I see this as a good thing for all Americans. The wheels of politics are very slow turning. Division between groups only causes the wheels to turn even slower. I am glad to see leaders looking to work in a non partisan way once again.
