Porter Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team. Applicants will have a strong concrete and wood construction background with exposures in remediation, building envelope, insurance work, waterproofing, deck, window, and concrete work. Competitive compensation guaranteed. Superintendent will oversee project implementation. You will report to project PM for all deliverables. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Allocate resources for assigned projects Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Ensure quality control in all trades Qualifications: Previous experience in construction management or other related fields Familiarity with construction management software Strong leadership qualities Strong negotiation skills Deadline and detail-oriented Job Type: Full-time Compensation— competitive salary based on experience from $96K - $130K, 4O1k, and discretionary bonus.
