Recruit, engage, and retain volunteers that will invest in your organization. There's no doubt that volunteers are important to the nonprofit world. Volunteering is an evolving concept and if we don't continuously adapt our opportunities and programs, we can run the risk of losing involvement. This workshop will focus on: 1. Understanding today's volunteers and the expectations they have for their experiences. 2. Key pieces to include with your volunteer opportunities so they stay engaged with your organization's mission. 3. How to maintain/recreate those opportunities when crisis strikes (and when coming out of a crisis) so you don't lose momentum. 4. Retaining volunteers so they keep coming back! We'll also be talking about the *new* Hands on Shoals volunteer management platform. This workshop is free for Shoals Nonprofit Center members and $10 for non-members. We'll also be providing Taco Mama! Due to COVID-19 concerns, masks and distancing are required.
