Laborer/Ground Team Member Job Duties: Prepares, sorts, cleans, and separates incoming green waste materials for organics grinding and composting. ( Trabajo al aire libre y separamos la basura de el pasto y ramas de arboles) Location: Sacramento Hours: 7am – 3:30pm or 9am - 5:30pm M-F, some Saturdays 7am – 3pm. Overtime as needed. Environment: 100% outdoors Competencies: - Ability to work well with a team - Drive and motivation to work hard to meet goals and requirements - Interest to learn and to teach others - Good attitude Other responsibilities include: - Sort materials, such as green waste, wood waste, food waste, metals, glass, paper or plastics into the appropriate areas/containers for recycling or disposal - Clean the yard by sweeping, raking, picking up material and loose paper debris, or moving barrels and bins - Place heavy items onto trucks for shipping
