Any pianists out there interested in covering the Sunday at the Village Vanguard album by Bill Evans Trio? I play upright bass. I can practice once every two weeks during a weeknight from about 7:30 - 9 pm. I figure we would try to kick out a new song each practice and go over the ones we've already done as well until we get the album. I'm not thinking note per note. I'm definitely no Scott La Faro, but I can hold my own if I practice the songs a bit. I live in Eureka. We could practice at my place. If we get good at the album we could do a coffee shop here and there and maybe bring in a drummer. I'm really only interested in covering this album at the moment, and I'm not open to other songs or instruments. If this is something you are interested in, feel free to contact me. I'm a 41 year old male... not that it matters.
