In Naugatuck, The Harvest Moon Festival has been a staple of fairs on the town's green. Hosted by the Boy Scout Troop 102, the Harvest Moon Festival is celebrating its 37th year. The Naugatuck Culture and Arts Committee is sponsoring Friday night's live music. Wonderful vendors from all over the state and many of Naugatuck's very own talent, businesses, and non-profits will fill the green to celebrate the start of fall. Fried Dough, made by volunteers of Troop 102 is a family favorite to look forward to. The festival will feature live music entertainment, including 60's Satisfaction on Friday evening and Potter's Field on Saturday. Bring a blanket or a camp chair to enjoy the music at the gazebo.The park will be lined with food vendors, arts, crafts, candles, jewelry, ceramic painting, and fun activities for the kids. On Saturday, starting at 11 AM, Troop 102 will be hosting free fun activities for children of all ages! From rocket launching, fun games, and hands-on activities. Information on how to join Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will be available during that time.
