MILFORD, CT — A Milford man, Robert Buonocore, 66, of Viscount Drive, is accused of hitting an elderly person in the head with a cane causing a cut, police said. Buonocore is also accused of kicking an officer while being placed under arrest, police said. Police responded to a Viscount Drive residence on a report of an assault on Aug. 28. Investigation led to the arrest of Buonocore, who is charged with breach of peace, second-degree assault of an elderly person, interfering with an officer, assault on an officer, and carrying a dangerous weapon. He was released after posting $2,500 bail.
