When deputies arrived, they located a 48-year-old male in the driveway with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.   During the investigation, deputies learned there was a physical disturbance between the victim and Douglass R. McGathy (32). McGathy was arrested and booked for Murder in the second degree.   This press release was produced by the Sedgwick County Kansas Sheriff's Office.
