Description
I have two gardens which need edging stones placed around them. The gardens' total perimeter is about 90 feet. I have the stone pieces ready to go. These stone pieces are approximately 12" long, 4" wide, and 4" deep.
One garden has some existing stones around 2/3 of it (outlined in red, see photo). Those need to be removed, dirt filled so the hole is 2" deep, and then stones placed.
Expectations for the job:
- Dig about 2" down around the edge of the gardens, so the stones will sit in the ground but are clearly visible aboveground
- Remove existing stone pieces from around one garden (do not haul them away; I will handle that)
- Fill holes from those existing stone pieces to 2" deep, using dirt dug from around the first garden
- Place landscape stones around the gardens
Square edge spade provided.
