OAK FOREST, IL — The Oak Forest City Council approved an award of contract to Iroquois Paving Corporation for the 2021 Road Rehabilitation Program, resurfacing 12 street segments this year, according to the city. Work on the roads began this week, according to the city. The contractor will notify all the residents a day before any work will be done to their area by a notice on the front door, the city stated. Work will begin on Sayre Avenue and will proceed in the order written below: Sayre Ave.: 155th Pl. to 156th Pl.Bramblewood Rd.: 155th Pl. to 156th Pl.Brianne Ln.: Victoria Dr. to Courtney Dr.Courtney Dr.: Pine Dr. to Brianne Ln.Rob Roy Dr.: 157th St. to Victoria Dr.Rob Roy Ct.: Rob Roy Dr. to EndRob Roy Dr.: 157th St. to 159th St.Brookwood Dr.: Arroyo Ct. to EndFairfax Rd.: Edward Dr. to Duncan Rd.Leclaire Ave.: 159th St. to 155th St.Roy St.: Richard Ave. to Henry St.Barton Ln.: Frontage Rd. to Barry Ln. According to the city, the schedule of the contractor is weather dependent and may change weekly or daily. Residents living on the streets listed above with any questions are asked to call Public Works at (708) 535-4090 regarding the Road Rehabilitation Program.
