Press release from the City of Golden Valley: August 31, 2021 The 2021 Run The Valley is Sat, Sept 11. This year's event will begin with a moment of silence and flag raising by the Golden Valley Fire Department to honor the 20th anniversary of the Sept 11 attacks. The morning will kick off at 7:45 am with a 0.2K Kids Fun Run. The 10K race begins at 8 am, followed by the 5K race at 8:10 am and the 5K walk at 8:15 am. Starting and finishing is near the Brookview entrance (316 Brookview Parkway S), this certified course runs through residential Golden Valley.
