A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR As a Maintenance Supervisor for Dietz Property Group, you ensure that our residents have safe, comfortable apartment homes in good repair and that they are happy with the level of service they receive. When a resident moves out, you take great pride in you & your team making it move-in ready for the next resident. You are known for being calm, friendly, responsive, and capable, you promptly address any concerns that arise in the apartment homes of current residents and make the appropriate handyman repairs. In addition to residents and coworkers, you communicate and coordinate with vendors and outside contractors on a regular basis. You are organized and keep good records, accurately documenting work performed on service requests as well as keeping tight inventory control of equipment and materials. Each shift brings a combination of daily checklists and unexpected surprises. You love that you are never bored! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR 3 years experience in professional apartment/townhouse/home maintenance. Proven ability to lead a team of 2-3 maintenance techs Ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs, occasionally lift up to 75 lbs, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and work in a variety of weather conditions Customer service skills Ability to be in the on-call rotation HVAC certification or willingness to obtain one on our dime. Prior experience in a maintenance supervisor role would be preferred but is not required. Are you mechanically-inclined, reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently? Do you work well as part of a team? Are you efficient and able to prioritize tasks effectively? Do you have good communication and people skills? Are you attentive to safety?
