Description
Hey there! I just moved to Wilmington from Dallas, Texas. I've been trying to make music for the last 10 years with varied success. I've been in several bands, blending styles ranging from grunge, rock, punk, metal, funk, and everything in between. I produce, write, play guitar, bass, drums, and sing.
Lately I've been listening to a lot of reggae, psychedelic/indie/classic rock, punk, grunge, and funk. Stuff like Sublime, Nirvana, MGMT, Slightly Stoopid, Rick James, No Doubt, Jimi Hendrix, Screaming Females, and Crumb to name a few. I've also been getting into ska lately!
Ideally I'd like to start some sort of rock band with a grunge/90s influence, but I'd be down to start a folk rock band, a jam band, or anything really. #&@$ it, let's go all out! Any horn players out there? Key players? I love all kinds of music, for @#*&'s sake - I used to listen to DUBSTEP so I'm up for anything as long as it sounds good.
Some other artists I listen to include: Bob Marley & The Wailers, The Doors, Grateful Dead, Gorillaz, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Free Nationals, Hiatus Kaiyote, Earth, Wind & Fire, Vulfpeck, Mike Love, Jack Johnson, 311, Sticky Fingers, Little Dragon, The Internet, Steve Lacy, Tame Impala, Anderson.Paak, Rex Orange County, Cage The Elephant, Mac DeMarco, and last but not least, The White Stripes.
If any of this interests you, let's meet up and talk about music!
I do this for fun, but I aim to make it my life.
Let's do something crazy.
