We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of our commercial properties. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC maintenance, weekly property visits troubleshooting issues and resolving them, landscaping etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously efficiently. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition. Candidate must live on the east side of the twin cities or wester Wisconsin. Responsibilities Weekly buildings visits to inspect properties inside and out for any current and future issues. Then following through and resolving issues. Able to assess maintenance issues and either complete repair themselves. If an outside contractor is needed they will need to obtain bids, schedule the work and ensure completion of the work. Maintain HVAC, AC condenser units and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Roving to all properties on a weekly basis and keep properties in great condition. Position could be hourly or salary SKILLS: Proven experience as maintenance technician Basic understanding and or previous maintenance of HVAC systems is highly preferred. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Problem-solving skills Good physical condition High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus Candidate must live in the East Metro or Western Wisconsin
