Hello all! This is Athena! She is aprox 1 year and 6 months old. I got her when I lived in Arizona around 6 months old. She knows basic commands like sit, paw/shake, no, and go home. When I got her she was a rescue with an extreme fear of new people. We have worked very hard to get her over that fear, and she is nearly there! Will still bark at new people, but does not cower or run away like she used to. Will take about 15 minutes to warm up to new people, faster if they have treats! Great with other dogs, cats, animals in general. Also loves kids The reason for rehoming is to hopefully find her a lovely farm or a house with a big FENCED yard where she can be outside a lot. Our landlord will not allow a fence to be put up, and she has a habit of getting off a tie out (escape artist). She has had issues holding her bladder for more than 8 hours, which is my GFs and mine work hours. So with a heavy heart I post this, hoping to find the perfect home for her. She would be a perfect farm dog or a dog for someone with more time/ a fenced yard to let her be in while you work. She is good with learning property boundaries, but we just don't have the time for her like she deserves. Small rehome fee ($100) to ensure she goes to a great home. I also would ask for updates and pictures of her to make sure she is doing good.
