Utility contractor is taking applications for Labors. This is for full-time long-term employment if you are willing to travel. The last few years we have been working in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. You must be able to pass an observed drug test and can expect random drug tests during the job. You should have a driver’s license. A Commercial Driver’s License is preferred, but not required. If you are interested in learning the lineman trade, we do have an apprentice program that is certified by the US Department of Labor and approved by the Veterans Administration. This program is not promised to everyone, it is something you must earn. To qualify for our Apprentice Program in you must: 1. Be reliable by showing up on time every day for work. 2. Operate safely. 3. Learn what is going on. 4. Put in a good day’s work. 5. Have a valid driver’s license and eventually get a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) This is just common-sense stuff, but not everyone possesses the discipline do it. You could spend around $20,000.00 to attend a Lineman’s school or you could learn the trade in our program while being paid. Those who do go to Linemen’s School need to finish their training in an Apprentice Program similar to ours.
