Description
Hey there,
I moved to Pittsburgh this past June and I don't have any close friends- or really any friends- here yet, so here I am.
Not particularly fond of talking about myself but here's a bit.
I'm a pretty introverted person and spend most of my free time watching films, listening to records, chilling with my partner and dogs, and working on music. I started this DIY project back in 2020 while living in Los Angeles as a depression project; really, it was an act of necessity, considering COVID-19 decimated whatever ambitions and opportunity we all had. More than ever I realize that I'd like to be creative with others and develop some comradery that's more than just a superficial acquaintanceship. I'm not great with surface-level. I rent a house in the Mt. Washington area with my girlfriend and we have a pretty chill environment to create, along with recording necessities for vocals, guitar, bass and synth/keys. I'd prefer to work on this project with someone who can be a homie, someone with a sense of humor, and someone willing to be a bit vulnerable. Being an outstanding musician, remarkable performer, or whatever else is not as necessary.
All the drums are programmed and I haven't decided whether or not to use a drum machine or get a drummer. Ideally I'd like to find one other guitar player and a bass player. One of which could maybe sing. Not particularly strict on any variation of musicians at the moment, so feel free to message me either way. I'm cool with taking time on this project and there's no rush to play shows, although that's certainly a goal.
Project is called sadbug. I've got 13 or so demo tracks I'm working on completing and you can hear a few of them here: https://sadbugpitt.bandcamp.com/
Don't hesitate to contact me if we sound compatible.
