Description
Thanks for reading! We're currently a three-piece (guitar/vocals, bass, and drums) hoping to expand to two guitars by moving our bass player to guitar (his primary instrument) and adding a skilled and seasoned bassist. Our sets are all covers, primarily blues, country, and rock (1950s to 1990s, e.g., SRV, Roseanne Cash, Norah Jones/Peter Malick, the Judds, Trisha Yearwood, Tom Petty, 12-bars from various sources), and we're always open to suggestions for material. We're all 45+ and we all have full-time jobs, so this isn't anyone's main source of income, but of course we play out whenever we can. (We've got a few afternoons and nights lined up in the coming months at places like Corrales Bistro Brewery and Brew Lab 101.) Gender doesn't matter; right now we're two women and one man. If you're looking for a full-time gig playing every week, or to make a ton of money, this isn't for you, but if you're looking to have fun playing some great music with some laid-back folks, get in touch! (If you can sing harmony or lead, definitely get in touch!) We rehearse once a week for two to three hours, usually on Sundays, in Rio Rancho.
