Day Porter/Maintenance Tech – San Diego Shopping centers near the corners of Bernardo center Dr and Maturin DR. Second shopping center near Dove Canyon Road and Lone Quail We are a janitorial company that has been in business for over 30 years and we are looking for an experienced day porter with maintenance skills in the Los Angeles Area Duties Include: • Day porter scheduling according to property manager needs and direction. • Complete any additional property management requests. • Police parking lots and keep planters, entrances, parking lot, driveways, trash enclosures, and gutters free of trash and debris. • Maintain dumpster area keeping them clean and locked • Sweep walkways clean. Wipe down sills as needed. Wipe clean metal work at entrance. Clean entry glass daily. • Remove trash bags to designated bin areas and replace liners • Spot clean public areas for appearance, maintenance, and safety issues. Remove spider webs. • Restock restrooms (as required). Refill soap, towel, tissue, and sanitary napkin containers. • Remove graffiti. Immediately report abandoned vehicles, dumped furniture, problems with lighting, building damage and irrigation issues • Check fire extinguisher dates • Touch up paint throughout building • Water plants throughout property • Errands to Home Depot if needed • Inform company of any misc. repairs’ items and/or emergency requests Part time and full-time position Start pay $15.00hr Benefit for all full-time employees after 90 days.
