Drop The Mic Entertainment is looking for independent DJs who are looking to fill their calendar for an October 2021 wedding and maybe beyond in a sub-contractor role. Drop The Mic Entertainment is a non-cheesy DJ company that works with modern brides and grooms who want their wedding to be a party. We offer competitive pay for all of our djs. Requirements Must Have a good attitude Reasonably good emcee skills Must be willing to work off our wedding script Must be local to Cleveland, Akron, Canton area Must be able to work at least 1-2 Saturdays per month and be willing to book 3-4 months in advance. Great organizational skills At least 1-year WEDDING DJ Experience Reliable transportation our djs can have gigs from Cleveland to Youngstown and anywhere in-between. Proper wedding attire Must own the proper gear (Powered speakers preferably), wireless mics, dj controller or mixer, laptop, dj programs like serato and a proper wedding music library. Must be willing to speak to clients over the phone We do now allow drinking or smoke breaks on the job You make your schedule Drop The Mic Entertainment pays their djs up to $50-$70 an hour with a minimum of 4 hours of reception time.
