Have connections/knowledge in Medical Field??

Does anyone know of a person who would be willing to act as a patient advocate? May have performed this function previously, or may have worked in medical field and have knowledge in navigating around the systems for the benefit of a senior that has difficulty in getting the help needed. A person who has no problem in speaking up, asking for what would be relative for care ;someone who is a no nonsense person that can be firm when needed. Someone who is looking out for the patient,and not the doctor's best interest. Really need some assistance. Person has little resources, so if you know someone who'd volunteer, or accept minimal compensation, would be most grateful. Thank you.
