Description

Automotive repair facility seeking full-time, Certified Automotive Technician. Inspect, diagnose, and repair domestic and foreign cars and trucks. Responsibilities: • Record and document pertinent auto information. • Inspect and diagnose faulty parts based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer. • Provide customer and/or manager with detailed estimates for repairs or replacement and obtain signature approval prior to commencing repairs. • Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed to ensure mechanical soundness and determine whether any other problems exist. • Describe vehicle's condition to customer and answer any follow-up questions. • Work safely and keep work area clean. Qualifications: • Must have 2 years automotive repair experience, either at a dealership or another independent automotive facility. • Experience with brakes, suspension, exhausts, and alignments preferred. • Knowledge of general maintenance services including oil changes, flushes, etc. • Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license. • Customer-focused attitude is a must. This is a full-time position with potential for overtime. Facility hours are Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm. Must be available 40 hours per week, but schedule is negotiable/ flexible. Pay Rate is $16.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience. Pay raises, health insurance, employee discount, and potential for bonuses, available after 90-day probationary period.
