If you’re interested in being your own boss, then a job on our Merchandiser team could be for you. This dedicated team engages our consumers by merchandising displays with fresh fruit, takes accountability to ensure products are displayed in the best possible way to meet the needs of our consumers, and drives sales through consistent deliveries. The merchandising position is paid weekly as a 1099 contractor, has a minimum payment of $500 dollars guaranteed for a 6-week route transition period, and offers the chance to make more from commission. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Build and maintain fresh fruit displays • Organize, rotate, and stock fruit at each assigned store • Service each assigned store as often as needed with a minimum of two non-consecutive delivery days • This position requires strong customer service skills Job Qualifications • 18 years of age • Must have a reliable vehicle for everyday driving to service retail accounts (you can claim mileage reimbursement on your taxes) • Minivan, full-size van, or SUVs, station wagons, and hatchbacks are preferred • Vehicle must be Legal with current safety and registration • Vehicle Car insurance – must be current. Applicant must be insured under the policy • Strong customer service skills • Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 50 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the job • Familiar and comfortable with technology and smartphones ABOUT FRUIT INC Fruit Inc, one of the largest direct store distributors of fresh fruits has been delivering fruits to various stores since 2006.
