Slab ceramic sculpture studio is now open for small group instruction. I offer studio space for slab work but not wheel thrown pottery. Studio is equipped with clay, slab roller, glazes and kiln. Primarily stoneware dipping work but other clays and techniques are available. A 5 week class is best to get some nice projects completed but flexibility is possible. $40 per class plus a $40 materials charge gets you an ocean view, open air, covered studio and access to tools and glazes. Learn the basics or glaze and fire your own creation. See the photos of the kind of things I'm working on and have done in the past. Learn the basics or follow your own inspiration to create the practical or the abstract. A five week class plus materials is $240. Join a north shore ceramics club and enjoy firing to 2200 degrees!
