Driver Assistants will assist us in delivering equipment to New York City schools. Drivers Assistants must be able to work in all 5 New York City boroughs. Driver Assistants will meet the Driver at the first scheduled site on their provided daily route and assist the Driver in delivering packages to individual schools at each stop, assist with unit start-up confirmation (no experience necessary, training will be provided), collect original equipment being swapped out to return to the vehicle and obtain Proof-Of-Deliver (POD) sign-off from point of contact. Drivers Assistants will also collect any packaging to be discarded back at the warehouse. A typical workday route will be between 5 to 7 stops. Full-time positions will be paid by the hours worked (we will offer a minimum of 35 work hours per workweek) and will include benefits and paid time off after 90 days. A Part-Time Field Technician position is compensated for time worked at the indicated rate and would typically accrue less than 30 work hours/week. This position does not accrue paid time off or include benefits. Starting compensation for this position will be $15.00/hour. Overtime beyond a 40-hour workweek will be compensated at 1.5 times base hourly pay. Drivers will possess the following attributes: · Availability to work Monday through Friday (5 AM start time) · Availability to work occasional overtime (compensated at 1.5 times base hourly pay above 40 hrs/week) · Must be able to pass fingerprint, background check, and drug test · Ability to travel within all 5 New York City boroughs · Able to lift boxes up to 30 lbs. · Strong customer service and communication skills · Reliable and punctual · Honest and trustworthy · Basic computer knowledge a plus but not a requirement · Eagerness to learn basic computer skills
