Our company is hiring contractors (1099 work) in Queens and Brooklyn counties to verify residential property occupancy and condition. If you are currently doing inspection work, we can give additional work. No inspection license is required, but applicants must be highly-organized, self-motivated individuals with reliable personal transportation who can visit and take photos of properties and input results (using Android or iPhone). Most inspections are exterior only. The type of inspections you can expect to perform include: Drive-by, Occupancy Verification, Door Knocks, Calling Card Delivery, Insurance Loss Drafts, Interiors (Less than 20%). Each inspector is assigned a predetermined set of zip codes to manage with jobs assigned electronically. Your inspection results provide banks and mortgage service companies information as to the condition of their homes. You provide property condition photos and to determine the occupancy status of the subject properties. Damage from weather or vandalism can decrease the value of property quickly if it is left unprotected. . Inspectors are needed all across the area for immediate opportunities. Requirements: Availability during daylight hours Possession of iPhone or Android phone with camera functionality is helpful; ideally with 4G Reliable high MPG vehicle (25+ MPG) with clean driving record is helpful Reliable desktop or laptop with high speed internet access A GPS unit (e.g. Garmin) or GPS via smart phone is helpful but not required Helpful experience with National REO Companies (ie. Cyprexx, Safeguard, MCS, Altisource, Service Link, Five Bros, NFR etc.) Helpful experience with inspection software: Inspectorade Helpful experience with routing software to optimize driving efficiency (ie. MS Streets & Trips or MapPoint) Direct pay (ACH) twice a month for each quality inspection completed. Inspector pay dependent on number of inspections completed. Our work is downloaded nightly. Inspector is responsible for refreshing their app every day. You will route out your day by using the program installed on your computer and phone and Inspectorade Routeade.You must take the pics before dark. We generally inspect the same houses every month.
