Immediate Job Openings in Sherborn Organic Vegetable Farm: Seasonal Farm Field Crew We are hiring Field Crew to help with all aspects of production and distribution on our certified organic vegetable farm located in Sherborn, MA. Dates: Immediate thru October/November 2021 Hours: Monday through Friday; hours vary during season from 35-40. Part-time hours available. Compensation: Hourly wage based on experience, workman’s comp, produce from the farm as available Responsibilities: The Field Crew is involved in all aspects of production and distribution, including greenhouse work; field prep; planting and weeding; insect and disease control; harvesting; washing and packing; and distribution. Supervised by and works closely with the farm manager and assistant grower. Qualifications: One-year experience working on a farm is preferred but not necessary. Additionally, applicants should have an interest in sustainable agriculture and certified organic standards. The ability to bring enthusiasm, initiative, and good humor to the outdoor working conditions of the season is essential. Also, applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule, able to lift 50 lbs, and have a valid driver’s license. Apply: Please email resume and letter of interest.
