The Columbia River Gorge is famous for its impressive landscape and plethora of waterfalls. Designated as a National Scenic Area, there are 77 waterfalls on the Oregon side alone, making it the highest concentration of waterfalls in North America. Even more stunning is the region's quick transition from rain heavy, lush forests to dry arid terrain dotted with colorful wildflowers. This guided trip will start with a 2 -3 hour guided hike where you can experience the gorge's natural diversity and beauty. The tour will make additional stops at iconic local attractions for photos and education of the regions.
