I'm sorry for everything. I wish that I wouldn't have wanted to spare the feelings of someone I never cared about the way I do about you. I wish I had been able to think that morning almost 4 years ago and tell you that as well but all I could do was drown in the idea of how it hurt you. And all this time you had the wrong idea of how much I love you and only you. And that has taken us down the worst road imaginable, but we have made it this far. I wish we could start over, knowing how much we both love and want each other, but I am not sure we can let go enough to get rid of the pain.
