Join us for a screening of the Crested Butte-based film 'High Country', as we kick off our long range plan, the Community Compass
The Town of Crested Butte is kicking-off its Long Range Plan, the Community Compass, by sponsoring High Country, an award-winning feature-length documentary recently released by Crested Butte native Conor Hagen and Ali Batwin. The movie tells Crested Butte’s story through the perspective of community engagement and conservation.
Join us at the Center for the Arts in Crested Butte, for two evenings of free screenings and interactive panel discussions with the director and subjects from the film to understand the forces that have created Crested Butte and leverage its power to shape the Town’s future.
Also showing will be Born from Junk a short film (15 mins) about Crested Butte’s mountain biking history. Directed by CB locals Mike Horn and Galin Foley.
