Deb Sullivan's hunt makes a return with one twist- she gets to compete this year as Tyler Renkert has offered to host the event so she can play! The 7th Annual Newtown Scavenger Hunt is happening on October 9th, 2021. ****Please share with anyone who wants to compete in the challenge**** Same rules as before, except there is a time bonus for the team that raises the most money starting now. There will be a 15 minute time bonus for the team that comes to the event with the most donations. The charities this year will be split equally between Newtown Food Pantry and Sandy Hook Promise. Let's make this meaningful for these great organizations- THINK BIG!! 1) Each team must come in a themed costume. 2) You can have as many team members that can fit into one car. 3) The game will be run on SCAVIFY- so you will be using the app to gather clues, answer questions, and record videos and photos. 4) OCR codes and geolocation for clue answer location- much easier! 5)The event will start and finish at MY PLACE- we will have the tent outside and the restaurant's back room. 6) There will be a trophy this year for the winning team that must be brought back the next year to defend the title. 7) There will be shirts made for all participants so we will need sizes for the team members. 8) $300 minimum donation per team to play. 9) There will be prizes for the best costume/theme so be creative! 10) Comfortable shoes are a must as there are some physical challenges to go with the Gray matter challenges.
