The evening provides an inspiring demonstration of our special needs individual’s “abilities” as they model fashions Fantastic Friends of WNY, Inc. invites you to be a part of this incredible initiative by attending and/or sponsoring the 3rd Annual “Fantastic Friends - Rock the Runway” at Aloft Buffalo/500 Pearl on Friday, Sept 24, 2021 at 6:00 pm. This year's event is sponsored by Gary & Joan Crosby and Peter Heffley in honor of Gary & Joan's grandson, Paul Armitage. This is a unique, exciting and interactive event with the goal of educating the community while entertaining through fun and fashion. The evening provides an inspiring demonstration of our special needs individual’s “abilities” as they model fashions alongside their “buddies”! This event is made possible only with the generous partnership of our sponsors, donors, selfless volunteers, parents and our amazing community. Included food & drinks with a silent auction will be held in the Grand Aeries Room followed by the fashion show and live auction in the Forbes Theatre. To sponsor (reserved seating and tables) contact [email protected] Fantastic Friends of WNY is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, which coordinates monthly recreational events for individuals with developmental disabilities in order to create an environment of acceptance, comfort and fun. As this population may not have the opportunity or access to recreational events on a regular basis, our program caters to helping children and adults with disabilities to socialize and create friendships. All of our events provide 1:1 support for each participant through specially trained volunteers. Our volunteers or “buddies” are there to assist participants in engaging in activities, socialization and most importantly, having fun! Parents or caregivers are always welcome to join in on the fun and socialize with other parents or take advantage of this time for much needed respite.
