This is Tour #1 of two one-hour tours this year! This one covers the 100 block of West Main from the Katy Depot to the Raynal building. This is a one-hour walk highlighting the history and hauntings of downtown Denison focusing on the old Depot and 100 block of West Main Street. Thank you for choosing Red River Tours! Put on your walking shoes and get ready to travel back through time from Denison’s historic past to the haunted present! Come hear the Haunted History of Denison! Walk where history lives and there is a ghost around every corner. Every hair-raising tale is true and verified by one of Texoma's historians. Grab your walking shoes and be prepared to learn more about the spirits and stories which linger in the shadows in downtown Denison. Thank you for walking with us! We have another one-hour tour this year in Denison with new information. We hope you will be able to sign up for both for the full experience! (See Tour #2 Hotel Denison, Rialto and Barretts) We have two one-hour tours each Saturday night, October 9, 16, 23, & 30. Tour #1 The Depot to the Raynal Building will be each Saturday at 7:00. Tour #2 The Hotel Denison, Rialto & Barretts will be each Saturday at 8:30. All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. This tour takes place on Denison’s Main street and some side streets; expect uneven pavement and other obstructions. Watch your step as you walk. Watch for cars as we cross streets. I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form will be used by the event holders, sponsors, and organizers of the activity in which I may participate, and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said activity. In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this activity, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my traveling to and from this activity, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Red River Tours, L.L.C. and/or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, and the activity holders, sponsors, and volunteers; (B) INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise. I acknowledge that they are NOT responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific activity on their behalf. I acknowledge that this activity may involve a test of a person's physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular traffic, lack of hydration, and actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, monitors, and/or producers of the activity.
