On Monday, September 13, 2021, Helping a Hero will hold the Lee Greenwood Patriot Awards Dinner at the Thompson Dallas.
Join us for an evening celebrating patriotism and honoring our wounded warriors as we remember the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. Hosted by Lee Greenwood, Event Chairs The Honorable and Mrs. Rick Perry, and Honorary Co-Chairs Chuck and Gena Norris.
Award recipients include Jim Caviezel, Roger Clemens, Tavia and Clark Hunt, and the Honorable Mica Mosbacher. This year, Helping a Hero will recognize 40 patriots with the award in honor of the 40th anniversary of Lee Greenwood's song, "God Bless the U.S.A."

Helping a Hero is a 501(c)(3) organization that has awarded over 100 homes in 23 states to our most severely wounded warriors injured in the Global War on Terror. Funds from this event will benefit the construction of specially adapted homes in Texas and nationwide. Helping a Hero is certified by the Better Business Bureau as a transparent and accountable charity and was also one of 12 charities selected by the BBB for the "Award of Distinction" in 2017. Applications are being accepted for 2021 and 2022 homes.
