Description
We started an online Ebay store as a side gig to support a not-for-profit patriotic project we're heading up. However, the store has grown so quickly that it is now taking too much of our time away from our primary project. So we need someone else to help. We sell some very high-end equipment for sale and have a sterling reputation (100% positive) which must be protected.
The job will be part-time, with flexible hours. A part-time schedule would be primarily during normal business hours, but if you have the right experience, and evenings or weekends work better for you, we can adjust.
The job includes the following tasks and skills:
*Ability to clean and photograph equipment that is brought in to sell
*Ability to package products perfectly and ship properly to protect our reputation for great shipping - some equipment we sell is fragile
*Ability to organize and track merchandise - perhaps develop a formal system to do so
**Experience working with Ebay and understanding all the ins and outs of their system - or having run your own store - are huge plusses
Sometimes we travel overnight to pick up items we buy from an auction, or to deliver something in person with a "white glove" delivery. So the ability to travel for business is NOT required, but would be a big plus if you have that flexibility. Would have to have a clean driving record to do this part of the job.
