Salisbury Days 10th annual Tortoise and the Hare 10K /5K/1-mile Fun Run Friday, September 17 It doesn’t matter if you are young or old, fast or slow, running in the Tortoise and Hare, everybody wins the race! The annual Tortoise and the Hare 10K will be run on Friday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m. with a new course on the newly completed Salisbury Coastal Rail Trail starting at Lions Park. Race fees: $25 before Sept 10, $30 before Sept 16, $35 after Sept. 17 and race day, $20 Youth 15 and under, $15 Kids Fun Run for 12 and under. Post-race festivities include a beer tent sponsored by Enjoy Your Life and Riverwalk Brewing, live music by Evolvement Music, food trucks, and more. The 10th Anniversary Tortoise and the Hare will kick off the 2021 Salisbury Days weekend.
