This class will provide you the tools you need to assist you with your firefighter recruitment efforts. Statistically, it is known that most fire departments do not have a plan to market, select, hire, and on-board new candidates. Most react to the need when someone announces a retirement, or when no one shows up for calls. Finding candidates to serve along with you requires research, and a path to follow. If recruitment is not a high priority for your department, your community will suffer, and firefighters are put at risk. This class will provide you the tools you need to assist you with your recruitment efforts, interviewing processes and on-boarding of new firefighters.
