Dr. David Crockett, an expert in gender and racial inequality and its impact on marketing, will share some of his latest work with Sephora. Dr. David Crockett, an experienced researcher in gender and racial inequality will shed some light on this topic using some insights from his recent experience with Sephora. During this event you will learn: The applications of diversity and inclusion into your strategic marketing plan. Actual tactics and strategies to foster change and inclusion. Creating an environment within the marketing team that invites diversity and an open mind to change into the discussion and strategies. There will be light appetizers and a selection of soda, beer, and wine. (Must be 21 years or older to consume alcohol). (see section below for location information) Dr. David CrockettDavid Crockett is a professor at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business and a Moore fellow. His research investigates the creation, manifestation, and resolution of class, gender and racial inequality in the marketplace and addresses consumer, managerial and public policy initiatives designed to alleviate inequality He has worked with organizations including Sephora on topics similar to this and will be able to call on that knowledge to support the topic of this event. His research primarily focuses in the sociological aspects of consumer behavior, particularly the consequences of social inequality.
