We are looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to work at Via Reggio Apartments, a 116 unit community in San Jose, CA. Qualified candidates must have 4 years of related apartment maintenance experience, knowledge and skills in Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, complete turns within our required time, work orders, install & repair appliances, complete drywall projects, and general maintenance. Must have basic computer knowledge. Responsibilities * Must have excellent time management and organizational skills * Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload * Able to lift, pull, push or carry up to 50 lbs. * Overseeing the physical components of the property * Scheduling vendors * Turnover of units * Providing quality customer care and services to our residents * Perform all maintenance operations * Obtain bids from others vendors * Responsible for cleaning common areas, restrooms, laundry room, lobbies, hallways, storage rooms and shops * Clean and maintain pool area & fitness room * Shift hours are 8-5 weekdays * Rotating schedule of being “on call” every other week Required Skills * Plumbing * Electrical * Carpentry * Painting * General clean up *Appliances repair Qualifications *High school diploma or equivalent * 4 years minimum experience in managing similar multifamily properties * Have your own tools and reliable transportation * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Follow-up with the property manager on daily basis * Professional appearance and positive attitude * Must pass a drug test, and back-ground check.
