Mills Alums & Friends: Let’s raise some dough and break bread together in honor of Viji and the AAMC Staff, in support of the FGS Campaign. Mills Alums and Friends: On the eve of what may come, let’s raise some dough and break bread together in honor of Viji and the AAMC Staff, in support of the AAMC’s For Generations Still Campaign. What: A Gathering and Fundraiser in Support of the For Generations Still AAMC Campaign, in Honor of Viji and the AAMC Staff Where: Reinhardt Alumnae House Patio on the Mills College Campus @ 5000 MacArthur Blvd. Oakland, CA 94613 When: 5:30 PM to 9 PM Thursday, September 2, 2021 Suggested Donation in Support of the For Generations Still Campaign: $100.00 + or – (let this not be an impediment to joining – contribute what makes you comfortable). A separate invitation will go out for the dessert and candle lit procession. Ways to Donate: Cash, Check (to Alumnae Association of Mills College) or Card at event or donate through the AAMC Square site at https://aamcmerch.square.site/product/charitable-donation-to-the-aamc/31 - in the in honor of notes section, type in 8/2 FGS Gathering in Honor of Viji and the AAMC Staff. The entirety of cash or check donations will go to the AAMC (Square takes a fee.) The Schedule: 5:30 PM Nibbles, Sips and Visits 6:00 PM Rustic Summer Meal 7:00 PM Dessert and Remarks from Viji 8:00 PM Candlelit Procession through the Campus in Song (Mills students will be encouraged to join us for this and the dessert portion of the evening) Options for Student Attendees: The campus rules prohibit students under the age of 21 to be in the presence of the provision of wine. Students 21+ are welcome to join us for any portion of the event. Students under 21 will be welcome at 7:00 to join the gathering for dessert and in preparation for our candlelit procession, and we ask that they sign up for that ticket option. COVID-19 Precautions: Please review and ensure that you are willing and able to comply with the campus rules regarding COVID-19 precautions.
