Press release from the City of Salem: August 30, 2021 Due to the change in polling place for Ward 2 voters, for the Tuesday, September 14, 2021 municipal preliminary election in Salem, Ward 2 voters who need a ride from St. Peter's Church (the former polling place) to the Community Life Center (the new polling place), will be able to ride for free on the Salem Council on Aging vans between the two locations. Vans will pick-up from St. Peter's Church on the hour, every hour starting a 9:00 a.m. with the last pick-up at 3:00 p.m. Voters will be driven to the CLC and then brought back downtown to St. Peter's Church.
