Thursday's vaccine clinic takes place at the Buffalo Creek Middle School cafeteria at 7320 69th Street East in Palmetto from 4:40 to 7 p.m.
Appointments must be booked online in advance here.
Students under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians are also asked to fill out a completed consent form in advance and bring it to the appointment.
The second vaccine dose will be given Sept. 23. Families that register for their child to get the first shot will be provided a link to book their second appointment in their confirmation email.
There were 87 confirmed student cases and six cases among staff reported Friday, according to the district's COVID-19 dashboard. That same day, there were also 221 students and staff members quarantined because they may have been exposed to the virus.
