Press release from the City of Glen Cove: August 28, 2021 Nassau County Department of Health has issued an advisory against bathing at Morgan Park Beach and Pryibil Beach today Saturday, August 28th, until 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 29th. This advisory is issued as a precautionary measure for beaches known to be impacted by stormwater runoff caused by heavy rainfall. Stormwater runoff can impact bathing water quality by elevating bacteria levels, which may cause exceedances of the New York State standard for bathing water quality.
