STAMFORD, CT — Building and Land Technology, a vertically integrated real estate firm, announced last week that Altus Power is opening a new office at 2200 Atlantic St. in Stamford. Altus Power is a market-leading, clean electrification company headquartered in Greenwich. "We're excited to welcome Altus Power to Stamford and have their team join our community's roster of premier corporate tenants," said Carl R. Kuehner III, Chairman of BLT, in a news release. "Altus is a national leader in the clean energy industry, and their relocation to Stamford builds on the momentum of world-class companies choosing to invest in our community. We applaud their ESG commitment and are thrilled that they have chosen to take advantage of the myriad of benefits this area and our buildings have to offer." Altus Power will occupy 33,000 square feet in its new location, with waterfront views and easy access to Harbor Point Square, the Harbor Point waterfront, and the Stamford Transportation Center. Additional amenities include restaurants, shuttle to the nearby train station, indoor parking, Commons Park and access to Harbor Point's events and fitness offerings. "Harbor Point offers the cosmopolitan flair of the city combined with the laid-back waterfront lifestyle. Trolleys and water taxis provide easy access to the nearby parks, marinas, award-winning restaurants and retail stores, as well as the Metro North train station and downtown," a news release announcing the move said. "The bustling neighborhood's events include live music, movies in the park, outdoor fitness activities, farmers markets, 5K runs and walks, car shows, and much more—with so much happening, there is no better place to live, work and play." Senior Vice Presidents Brian Carcaterra and Conor Denihan of CBRE Connecticut represented Altus Power, Inc. in the transaction.
