The Alaska Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Scholarship Program BBQ with amazing live music, silent auction, trivia, and food.
The Alaska Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is kicking off the 38th year of their Scholarship Program. These scholarships are awarded to Alaskan students pursuing professional technical degrees that lead to careers in the Alaska oil and gas industry. The Scholarship Program is funded by a long list of Alaskan companies and individuals that understand the value of developing Alaskan talent for this industry. The fundraising effort culminates in a social BBQ event, which will be held this year on Thursday, November 18th at the Viking Hall in Anchorage.
We believe that this is an excellent opportunity to assist in the education of our future leaders, while also gaining company recognition within the community. Scholarship BBQ Dinner event, which will be held at the Viking Hall, 8141 Briarwood St Anchorage AK, on Thursday, November 18, 2019. Social hour begins at 6:00 pm, BBQ at 6:30pm. Tickets to the event are $40.
