NORTH HAVEN, CT — The two brothers who were found dead at a home in North Haven on Sunday have been identified as Darrell Chapnick, 67, and Randall Chapnick, 72, according to the New Haven Register.
Police responded to a home on Primrose Street around 5:35 p.m. on the report of a possible shooting, according to officials.
Arriving officers confirmed that there were two gunshot victims and both were pronounced dead, police said. The initial investigation found that they were brothers, according to police.
Police said Sunday that they believed the incident was a murder/suicide.
The Register reported Monday that the brothers were found dead at Darrell Chapnick's home, and police believe an argument took place over the estate of their recently deceased mother.
